*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~* Reading is an intregal part of school and life. There are very few jobs, if any, that do not entail reading, and we all know it drives our state test. Critical reading skills are necessary for problem solving, understanding science and social studies, and figuring out how to work that new piece of electronic equipment! But let's not forget recreational reading, too. We can travel anywhere in a book and laugh or cry with a favorite character.
